Amethyst class have been learning all about dinosaurs, so with the sun shinning we set of to the woods.
We had to find where the dinosaurs had made their nests and laid their eggs. The children then had to crack the eggs open, to see if anything was inside. There were lots of different dinosaurs in the eggs, some large and some small.
We also had to dig for dinosaur bones in the mud, which was great fun but a bit messy. The children used garden tools to dig around in the mud, to help them locate the bones.
the final activity was to make a dinosaur collage using natural materials. These were amazing. take a look and see how we got on.
