Amethyst class have been learning about the Celts and how they lived. Today the class went to the woods to have a go at building a wall, in the same way as the Celts used to build their round houses. The children used Willow that had been cut from the dome on the playing field. They also collected mud and straw from the woods, building the wall using the wattle and daub method.
The children got very muddy but had great fun. The children did say that it must have been very hard work, building a house using this method. Take a look and see how they got on.
