Cinderella and Pumpkin hunt with nursery

This week we went to the woods to look for pictures of shoes, pumpkins and look for real shoes, as we have been talking about Cinderella. The children had to hunt for pictures and the items that had been hidden in the woods.
Again we were able to have snack in the woods today, in the log circle. During the morning session, we had a birthday snack, including the party hat and birthday cake.

There was an opportunity for the children to have some free time to explore the woodland on their own. Both Nursery sessions are now happy to come to the woods and explore for themselves. The group as a whole are remembering that the barriers mean stop and that they are not allowed passed the rope.

It was good to see children helping each other and playing together. One child helping her friends up a slippery bank.
