KS2 Halloween Campfire

This week was the final session for this group. Everyone was very excited as I said that we could have a campfire to finish off the term.

The fire was started in the log circle, but due to the wind it was moved to the seating area. The fire then became easier to light and we could begin cooking. The children cooked cheesy jacket potatoes and toasted bread, using a stick and had hot chocolate to drink. The toast took a bit to master, eventually one child found the right method and the others followed suit. The weather was quite cold and the hot chocolate was an enjoyable end to the lesson.

The afternoon went really well and everyone enjoyed their treats.
