Minibeast hunt with Nursery

We are learning all about Minibeasts and our activities this week were to hunt for them in the woods.
We love hunting for things, especially little creatures. The minibeasts were hidden on trees and bushes and when we found them , we had to peg them onto our clothes. Did you know that opening and closing pegs is a good way to strengthen our fingers? We also made pictures of Minibeasts using twigs, leaves and mud.

We were able to have snack in the woods but we miss the sun being out ! Maybe next week. Our snack was a bit special as it was someones birthday, so we sang "Happy Birthday" and had yummy chocolate rolls.
