With the children of Sapphire class enjoying their first Forest School of the new term, the children set off of to check the woodland for things that they could identify as possible hazards. Having discussed how to go about the task, the children put warning triangle's in the areas they thought could cause possible difficulties. The area having previously been checked by Mrs Rees. The class were able to demonstrate their knowledge of how accidents could happen, if people did not take care in the woodland. The children were also able to discuss what the difficulties could be and how they could correct the problems. The children then had a well deserved drink and the opportunity to explore the woodland and engage in their own activities with their friends.
