Shelter Building With Amethyst

The children of Amethyst class went to the woods for their Forest School session, to build shelters from natural materials and to construct tents.

The groups worked together, helping each other to build a natural shelter using branches and leaves and tents made of man-made materials. It was a really busy session with everyone getting stuck in. The tents were quite tricky to assemble but with some good leadership and trial and error, the tents were erected, giving the children something to sit in.

Take a look and see how we got on and how much fun we had.
