It was the spider’s web activity again this week, that had been constructed of elastic. The children had to help each other to get through the holes. There was some excellent team work between the children, giving instructions and guiding through the web.
Some of the group ended up in a heap on the floor, laughing and getting quite muddy. The children then tried the activity blindfolded. This was attempted by most of the children, involving the onlookers calling out instructions to the person blindfolded. It was a lot harder the children thought. The children seemed to enjoy this activity very much.
The final part of the session was for the children to explore the woodland on their own and choose their own activities. We did have a quick game of Hide and Seek. Some children easier to find than others, due to the noise they were making.
