The Nursery children build animal homes

The weather today was cold and there was a chance of rain, so we wrapped up warm and off we went.

The woodland creatures needed homes as the weather is getting colder. The task was to build homes for them. The children were asked what they thought they could use and the answers they gave were twigs, leaves and stones. We then set about collecting the materials to make their homes. The children then made the homes for the animals. Some children worked in pairs and others individually.  The whole activity was again a great success and the children constructed some lovely homes.

Take a look and see how cosy the animals homes are.
