Our Forest School session for Pearl Class had a bit of an unusual subject. The children have been learning about creatures that live under the sea. Not the easiest thing to do in the woods.
The children had to create a sea creature using natural materials. They made fish, jellyfish, sharks and octopus's. The finished results were amazing and we even had a turtle with fern leaves for his flippers.
The second activity was to locate creatures, that had been hidden in the woods. The children had to locate a picture and then in that same area, find the hidden creature. The children were not given any clues other than the area they could be found. This was a real fun activity and got the children to really look around their surroundings.
Take a look and see us exploring and getting muddy making our creatures.
