Welcome to Amethyst Class

Croeso i Dosbarth Amethyst

Here you will be able to find out about the recent projects and activities we have been involved in.
About Us
Our Class Teacher is Mrs Lewis.
Our Class Teaching Assistants are Mr Gregory, Mrs Bailey (am), Mrs Manley (pm) and Miss Bowen (1:1).
Important Information

Tuck Money - We suggest £1 per week. This should be sent in on a Monday in an envelope marked with your child's name.

P.E. - We will have P.E. every Monday and alternate Fridays. Your child will need a t-shirt, shorts, trainers and a tracksuit (we may go outside, weather permitting). They are not allowed to wear any jewellery during a P.E lesson.

Reading - Reading books need to be brought to school EVERY DAY. Please try to read at home with your child, discuss with them what they have read and record what you have done in their reading record. We make every effort to hear your child read every day as we feel that reading is important and helps them with their learning journey.

Spelling - We are working on learning the high frequency words, these are words that they'll use on a daily basis. Words are given out on your child's spelling day i.e. If they get their words on a Monday then they need to be learnt by the following Monday. Please help your child to practise and learn their spellings.

Forest Schools - The children have Forest Schools every Thursday. Please make sure your child has a waterproof coat and wellies in school. If they wear their wellies to school then they need to bring another pair of shoes to change into.
